About Rebecca
I create original oil paintings and painted objects that explore beauty, atmosphere, and that which moves my heart.

I’m drawn to moments in everyday life that feel luminous, tender, or slightly otherworldly. Elegant and ragged at the same time. Beautiful and a little weathered.
Working primarily in oil, my paintings often blur the line between subject and surroundings through loose brushwork and shifting layers of abstraction. It’s a way of sharing how people shape the places they move through, and places leave traces on people in return. My work often grows from that feeling of interconnectedness.
At the heart of my practice is a simple desire: to see the world with loving eyes, and to create work that helps others do the same. Paintings that brighten a room, hold emotional weight, and continue unfolding over time. Art that you want to live with. Something to get lost in.
Alongside my painting practice, I create painted functional objects — including motorcycle helmets, guitars, and skateboards — because dressing ordinary things in beauty enhances everyday life.
Inspired by life in Bali, my work treads the intriguing line between the everyday and the otherworldly, revealing the magic that can exist within ordinary life.
